Downsizing My Business - Wide Format Printing Equipment for Sale (Gainesville, FL)

I'm streamlining my business in the new year and need to find a good home for some lightly used, professional-grade printing equipment. Local pickup only in Gainesville, Florida.

Here's what's available:

  • HP Latex 365 Printer (2018): Excellent condition, low hours (needs new ink). Prints banners, signs, wallcoverings, decals, and more. It even has a fabric printing capability that's never been used! (will include Onyx Postershop 11 software).
  • Graphtec FC8600-160 Vinyl Cutter/Plotter (64"): Like new, this cutter can handle all your large format vinyl needs. Seriously barely used.... I use a smaller plotter for most of my work and only used this for printed products that needed die cutting.
  • SEAL 62+ Hot-Roll Laminator: In good condition and comes with a full roll of laminate, instruction manuals, etc. (I purchased this from another sign company but have never used it because I didn't have the extra 30 amp service. However it is in great condition and I was supplied with all the manuals, etc.
Also included:

  • Singer commercial sewing machine: Great for finishing banners or creating pole pockets. Custom made for this purpose by a company in NYC. Includes manuals and extra tools.
  • Vision rotary engraver with computer, monitor, and accessories. Including many blades, manuals, braile beads, etc.
  • Free materials: I will include 10 plus large rolls of banner material, canvas, magnetic material, poster paper, and adhesive vinyl for the latex printer. They are yours free if you purchase the whole setup.
Everything is priced to sell, and I'm open to reasonable offers.

Please note:
The HP Latex printer and Seal hot laminator each require a 30 amp electrical service due to their heating mechanisms.

If you're interested in giving this equipment a new home, please get in touch. I'm happy to answer any questions and arrange a time for you to see everything in person. You can contact me at 352-299-3538 (please leave message if I am not available) or by email at jennifer@thesimplestencil.com

To be 100% transparent, I purchased the latex printer and graphtec plotter from lexjet co. located in Sarasota Florida in 2018 in the hopes of expanding my vinyl decal business. I quickly learned that I don't have the manpower to add to an already busy business and found myself spending more time maintaining the equipment than I wanted to spend for the amount I was using it. I know there are other businesses who would get a lot more use out of these. I did have a belt break in the HP Latex printer in 2021 which was replaced by HP (they charge a flat rate of $1200 to come to you within 1 day and get the printer up and running whatever it takes (parts etc. included!). I paid this and it was very helpful to have the quick service but it is rather pricy. It you know how to repair your own printing equipment then you should be fine. They do offer a monthly service plan too for less (I think it was $800 a month) for ongoing support for any issue.

Also, I did recently change my 30 amp service in the building this unit is located in so I want to sell it quickly so that it doesn't sit more than a month without running. I do have the ability to start it up without the 30 amp service to run general maintenance but cannot print due to not having the 30 amp service to cure the ink with the heating mechanism. If it was me purchasing, I would get everything moved and then run a full clean and set up with new inks, etc. and if you run into any issues, contact HP for their service (weather 1 time or monthly) so you know your printer will be up and running as quickly as possible... perhaps they can train you on it too while there are at your location for the day. It's very easy to run but may be worth the time for some training and have the maintenance and set up handled for you. Call me if you want more details. I would consider no less than 15K for all above.
