Installing a backlit interior sign

I am installing a backlit acrylic/hdu interior sign. I need to install some kind of standoff from the wall for the LED's but I don't want to see the standoff bolts in my sign.

I have looked and looked and I haven't found what I am looking for. Am I over thinking this?

Thanks.

Making America great, one sign at a time.
backlit

while your idea of a "floating lit sign sound angelic, it really is a nightmare.
whithout standoffs, you are limited to using pieces of clear acrylic tubes as the method for doing this.
you will have to glue somekind of locking mechanism to hold those tubes into the wall, and the sign.
good luck!

Thinking now I might just use the gemini pads and than run some white pvc over the threads to hide them.
