Issue with flext cut - it perf cuts and then goes back over again

I am fairly new to summa cuuter and epson 80600s and Lexjet basically came out and dropped them off and drove away so doing a good deal of trouble shooting on my own. I am making stickers that involve a kiss cut and a flex cut. The problem is the flex cut is doing the perf cut and then going back over it again and it frees up the entire sticker causing them to fall out or jam the cutter. This is a first as I set this file up like all the others and the past files performed as expected so I am thinking that a setting got tweaked? Would love some help if anyone has thoughts on this. I am using Onyx Thrive rip and cut. Thank you

Usually this issue occurs when the cut paths are not setup correctly in Onyx, or flex cut mode is turned to "on" on the cutter. You can check if Flex Cut mode is turned on by using Summa Cutter Control. If it is turned on, just turn that off so the cutter will do both a kiss cut and a flex cut as opposed to flex cutting both cut paths. Here is a video link that explains the file setup process in Onyx -

Once you ensure the cut paths are setup correctly(basically just setup a custom spot color and it needs to be spelled a certain way for Onyx to recognize it as the correct cut path type), and flex cut mode is turned off, your cutter should kiss cut first and then do the flex cuts last.

Phil I guess I will need to take you up on this service. I looked in Summa Cutter Control and felx cut mode is "off". I have also rebuilt the files in illustrator the eact way i build all my previous files, checked the stroke thickness, double checked the spot color. As I mentioned before the flex cut is first perf cutting and then coming back over it cutting all the perf "tabs", and I notices on the kiss cuts it is doing the kiss cut one direction and then turning around and going the other direction.

AVOID LEXJET ALL COSTS MOVING FORWARD.
