Need Help JV3 160sp

We have just bought a second hand JV3 160sp. Its an 8 ink cartridge machine. We only want to run it on a four ink option is this doable? Do all eight slots need to be filled with cartridges? Do you need to select a certain option in order to allow this? Any help appreciated

Yes unfortunately on the JV3 you have to have all 8 cartridges in. They added the ability to run off of only 4 cartridges on the JV33 but yours does not. I'm sure with some ingenuity someone could figure it out but it isn't a built in function.

It is an 8-ink machine, but should be 2 of each CMYK.
Where are you at? We are just now getting ready to list a JV3160sp for sale.
