hello to all!

just need a little help from you guys.
i accidentally iniciate my jv300-160plus and it now displays jv150plus... (steps i did "parameter -> iniciate -> 2 -> enter").

my question is:
how can i reset it to jv300plus again? if i put "1" again will it change to jv300plus? or what is the correct number?

Yes, changing it back to a 1 will indicate it's a JV300 but now that your parameters are initialized, you might need to run head alignments etc. as the old settings are gone unless you downloaded the parameter file as a backup first.

You can try to contact Mimaki and ask for it but they might tell you to get your dealer to do it. They keep them on file there. It's probably a good idea because there are a bunch of other parameters that have been initialized that are specific to your printer and the new CSV file will bring them back. You would then just need to change the parameter that tells the machine it's already full of ink.

To tell the machine it's already full, in the Ink Parameter 1 menu, change parameter 000 from 0 to 1

To change from BS4 to SS21, change System Parameter 032 according to the info below:

0 - CMYK x2
2 - CMYK LC LM W W
7 - CMYK LC LM W SI
8 - CMYK LC LM LK OR

When you change it, once it saves, try turning the printer of with the main power switch. Sometimes you have to do that to get it to save for some reason.
