I am looking for help with choosing a laminator to laminate really thin 2 mil packaging film with Thermal 1.3 Mil OPP Laminate. We currently have an Orca 1 that has been a great laminator but its really long in the tooth and I'm looking for a new laminator with a good tension system in order to laminate these thins films which will typically be 50' to 100' long .
The packaging films have no release liner so they are really thin and flexible. Does anyone have any ideas on Laminators that will handle this type of application as well as techniques that will make this process a little easier to do without causing wrinkles.
I dont mind spending money on the right piece of equipment that will handle these types of materials.
Ive looked a little bit at the AGL laminators as well as the Seal Pro MD
Your recommendations and ideas on the process would be highly appreciated.
