Need Help Mimaki CJV-130 beeps 3 times and goes into local

Hi guys.

Our Mimaki CJV30-160 will, at times, beep 3 times and then go into local mode. I've noticed that it sometimes drops colors after it does this, though the dropping color is not my main concern. Just why does it go into local? Thanks in advance!

Does it do this during a print or while it's sitting there waiting for a job? I'm thinking there is a warning message being displayed but it flashes too quickly so you haven't seen it. If you can catch it in the act, see if the screen has an error message that pops up for a second while it beeps.

What Firmware version are you using?

Our machine has just started doing this as well. Have you found any fix to this?j
Firmware is 3.20
Using Rasterlink.
I completely rip files before printing.
Thought it was a media issue when using take up reel but the problem happens without reel as well.

Try with good double shielded usb cabel, I have an issue like that and fix it with that.

If rear media sensor looses signal for a second it'll go back to local without any warning.
