Mimaki JV3-160S chip by pass

Is their a way to by pass the chips temporary?
I am trying to set up this machine but need it in a fully working state to clean and run test prints.
Once this is fully operational I am going to fit a bulk ink system so I no longer need cartridges and will have permanent chips.

Thanks

Would not be much of a market for permanent chips if you could just bypass them...... No way around that as far as I am aware.

If you set the clock back then it will not be expired.... :)

Need to remove the back panel on the right end over the mainboard. Pull the I/O board and you will see a coin battery. Pull that out with it off for about 10 minutes and viola. The printer will think it's 2004 or so.
