Mimaki JV5 error 53 Head High Origin Help!!

    Hello, my JV5 display the error 53, I changed the head up and down encoder strip, the linear encoder PCB and the problem persist, any new idea will be very welcome...

    Have you changed the capping Y position? If you get the parking Y position too much to the left, the gear which moves the printhead up and down will have problems to work.

    Yes make sure the gears on the right are meshing correctly and not missing due to the carraige not going over far enough.
    There is a test procedure for checking the head encoder that is in service mode only.

    There is also a paremter to adjust if the gears are not meshing correctly but it has been a while since I have done it...let me know if this is what is happeneing.
