Mimaki JV5 ink refill systems

Hi guys,

We have a JV5 printer. A few weeks ago we had the option to change to a CISS (Continuous ink supply system) but have no idea if is a good option. What do you guys thins about ink systems? are a good option?

The best question to ask: how much printing are you doing, i.e. one hour once a week or 6 to 8 hours per day, five days a week? Another question to consider, is the environment a CONCERN of yours? CISS will reduce the need for proper disposal of used cartridges

CISS is better choice if your printer is busy, that can save cost and save time.

Bulk ink system only includes refill tanks and permanent chips are better than CISS includes bottle, cartridges.
