Hi guys

I'm having a print issue with our VJ1624 - perfect nozzle check but it has shadow print on the black colour only
I thought it may be from the encoders so change them both but no luck at all :(
VJ-1624 PF ENC Scale
VJ-1624 encoder strip

Head alignment looks good

Any ideas?

Thanks
Kamen

Are you sure the head alignment looks good? That looks like classic bad bi-directional alignment.

Edit: Actually on a close look it looks like you may have some electrical issue going on. I would check your head cables and make sure they are clean and not damaged. That's a good place to start. Unfortunately, it could be the head failing as well.

Will check the cables now - I've got spare set :)

An engineer did some alignment and it is now printing like this
Is it possible to do this bi-di alignment by my self

Thanks in advance :)

There are a lot of bi-directional alignments you can do but the one that will tell you the most is the one in the user menu. Go to Menu>Setup>User Type>Adjust Print. You can print the rough pattern and adjust it and then print the fine pattern and adjust that. Then run a print and see how it goes.

We did this print adj to all patterns it looks fine to me a bit better but still doubles vertical lines - vertical issue only
