Mutoh ValueJet - Cannot Open Port

I have searched awhile, but cannot find a solution to my problem.

The printer I have was working fine until it was moved, and now, while trying to print, I keep getting the error, 'cannot open port'. The guy helping me over the phone told me to get a crossover cable, but that hasn't worked.

I'm totally new working with this machine, so I don't know what to do. From what I've found, people are saying it's something with the IP address of the computer & printer...

Don't know your rip but here is the thread from the same problem I had.

It has nothing to do with your cable. When your printer powered down it forgot the IP address that last worked with your rip program.
