Yeah, we made one for ours. Home depot sells various extension cord female ends, we just bought the one that fits the Seal plug and spliced it into a heavy-duty (10ga I think) extension cord. Cost about $20 and works great.

i have an extension cord spliced into it, but the fire marshal did his inspection and is making us change it.

i made my own extension cord at the hardware store.
just bring your current one in, tell them how long of an extension you need, and they'll hook you up.

as long as you have the proper insulated male/female heads attached to the cord, fire inspection should pass... its just "rigged" setups, with electrical tape insulation/etc., that raise the red flags.

Splicing is your problem. Do it right the first time and you won't have to do it again.
That's my wife's saying and actually she says... there's never time to do it right, but there's always time to do it over....... and she drills it into me every minute every frickin' day and do you think I listen...... He-e-e-e-e-eck no.
