Our Mimaki JV150-160 printer is laying too much ink, causing the print to mess up once rolled onto the core. Its sticking to the backing paper, causing some kind of distortion on the print. Attachment is what the print looks like once unrolled. If you have any idea, please help!

Definitely a proflie issue. If you are running Rasterlink, you have have some options without modifying the profile (but fixing the profile is best). You can increase your passes, run unidirectional and add an inter-pass delay. This will allow the media to be on the heater longer to get it more dry before heading to the takeup reel. If you are using a rip like ONYX, you would have to, at the minimum, modify these attributes in a profile, but it's best to have the right profile set up.
