New Head Calibration

TAG Graphics

New Member
I have a Mimaki JV3-160 SP Ultra and I recently installed a new Yellow print head. I'm now getting a thin yellow line or band around my prints, especially if it's a smaller print or text. I need to do the head calibration and alignment and I have the service manual. But when I go to #ADJUST and try to chose PRINT ADJUST, it beeps and tells me ERROR 30 OPERATION... any suggestions are appreciated.

Error 30 is a general operation error on JV3s. Usually it happens when the machine hasn't measured the media yet, the pinch rollers are not down or one of your cartridges are either empty or near end so it doesn't want to print anything knowing that there isn't enough ink.
