Not a router

Okay I can't find it (after 10 minutes of searching on the forum)

A while ago (read years) I read an thread on the forum about a hand power tool used to cut contours in signs. It could even do cut letters. It was able to cut in any direction. I just can't find what it was called. I need help.

And it wasn't a router

Thanks!

Yeah, the good ol' cutawl. Those things used to rock. I wonder if it even compares with a better than average scroll saw now.

Jig saws that have a barrel style body work way way better than the standard type with the handle on top.
