Out of Gamut Problems

I am running into a problem with printing those hard to hit colors. I have been printing using Flexi 12 and the same Mutoh 1624x for years. I have never had an issue with the way Flexi interprets the out of gamut colors as long as it is an RGB file I am sending. Normally if I send an out of gamut blue or red, Flexi is able to get pretty close to the original color. Now suddenly Flexi is outputting a very washed out version of those colors that is not even close. I am using the same color preset that I have used for years as well. Ive attached a photo of the color difference. Please help!

Did you change media, or get a new roll of the same media? It could be a bad batch??

I think it has something to do with the rip software. I used to be able to send files to flexi as an RGB PDF and even if some colors were out of gamut it would still print them very close. Doesn't matter which material I use
