Need Help outline isnt solid

Hello all, hoping to get some help. Went to work on a few files today and to add an outline to some text and I can not get it to be a solid outline. The backing button is completely greyed out and can't hit it. Ive tried restarting flexi and my computer as well as a new file. Nothing works please help as I need to get these decals out today.

I've had this happen before. Play with the numbers with the up/down arrows and it should come back. I just played with mine and it grayed out the backing. But once I changed the numbers it came back.
