Paper for mounting pattern on HP L25500

I am wondering what a good cheap option paper is to print mounting patterns on our HP L25500. I thought of butcher paper but my supplier says that will not work on our machine.
We may have to use our plotter for the mounting patterns if there are not other options. We have another project that is far more detailed than creating a long coloring banner for street fairs and we need a stock for these as well. It needs to be able to drawn/painted on so coated stocks or gloss will not work.

Does anyone out there have any ideas?

:thankyou:

I have an inexpensive poster paper thats around $0.09 sq.ft that runs like a dream in latex.

What paper is this and which supplier do you get it from.

Also I agree pen in plotter will be best for mounting patterns but not our other project if the ink runs out the plotter can't tell me.

Uncoated paper works great in our latex.
Much better than the old HP5500 we used to have.

We've run bond paper and a 170gm silk.
Both print fine.
We created profiles for each although for patterns this won't be an issue.
The cheaper stocks are perfect for cheap short term posters.
