Path won't cut in Illustrator

Hello Everyone,

o.k., I have asked this similar question before. When cutting out of Illustrator, I have an image that just stops cutting a path. The image prints just fine (on traditional printer), and the path shows compete in different views. But it won't cut the path. I have tried switching from stroke to fill and vice/versa as suggested before to no avail. This is from a scanned image that I used live trace on. Other images I have scanned and traced cut just fine????

Any suggestions?

Have you viewed the image in wireframe mode?

In view>outline, yes and it looks fine.

Try expanding, ungrouping and removing any Smart Object attributes.
