Just wondering how many here live in similar population areas.

I know some here don't feel that where you live should determine your pricing structure but I do and just wondered where the majority of Signs 101 members are living?

The town my shop is in is about 7,000 pop. with the closest city of substantial size is 30 miles away.

My general area has 85,000+ with around 15 known local sign shops serving that area. My work is a little specialized that the area will not support me, though I have been trying to get the design for a large mall signage system coming up in the next 5 years, but so far no bites

I figure the area population for my other business to be in excess of 3,000,000. For the sign business, I'm looking at closer to 750,000. Countless other sign companies, but only a few do awnings (whew!)

the city my shop is in has about 30,000 people. But the area I service has about 220,000 people. There are only about 4 other real shops in this area but non that offer all the other services like we do. That helps alot with drawing in the customers to us.

My city and surrounding areas are about 1 million ... To many sign shops to list and even more basement shops. Its tough competition but everyone seems to be regularly busy.

Sounds like your in S. Florida.

Because USA has a lot of open space.
Why dont people put what city they are located in there profile?
