PRINTER PRINTS SLOW AND MAKES STOPS

My printer has been weird lately. When it prints it stops after a trip to left and a trip to right. Basically it prints reaaly slow. Does anyone gere have any idea what caused the problem.

I would start with your network....A printer typically slows down because its waiting on data.

What type of printer is it? What rip? What print settings?

There’s a whole host of things this could be.

Is it intermittent Or does it pause for the same amount of time each time?

some details would be helpful..

Uv9060 big color. I use maintop RIP 6.0. It pauses and continues frequently

This happened to us once and it was a network cable.

As stated above it's usually the network having an issue but it could also be a computer issue. If your RIP has the option to RIP while printing and you are using that function, if the computer can't RIP the file fast enough, you will get this issue.

Most of the time PC needs to be cleaned or defragmented. Remove unnecessary files that's clogging your memory, save it on a disc or a memory stick. This allows your PC to gain more memory space and solves the pausing issue of the machine.
