I have a client requesting a quote for 3 different quantities of bumper stickers

Qty: 2000, 5000, 10000
size: 250mm x 50mm
Decal Design: The customer has 4 designs made. so the order will be split into 4. (eg 4x 500 decals.)

What quality vinyl do you use for your bumper stickers, do you typically laminate your bumper stickers and what price range would you be looking at selling this for.

My customer replied to my quote saying, I'm way too expensive

2000 for 58.36 cents each ($1167.20)
5000 for 52.36 cents each ($2618.00)
2000 for 50.36 cents each ($5036.00)

your thoughts ?

I wouldn't be printing these, they can be done on flexo or other equip more economically. Sub em out. If you are WAY too expensive it sounds like your tire kicker already has his vendor.

Sounds fine. Plus, quit calling it 2000... bumper stickers when it is 4 orders for 500ea. In the bumper sticker world this is totally not the same thing.

We're a lot cheaper. Monomeric vinyl unlaminated. Fine to split them up into 4 different artworks.

Bumper stickers are half our business...and your prices are right where we'd be. Copy changes shouldn't matter. We print on 6mil gloss REMOVABLE adhesive vinyl (this is a big sales point...many won't consider putting a bumper sticker on their car due to paint damage/removal difficulties)

On an HP Indigo press copy changes will be a few $s each....Are those Australian prices?.....In the US/Canada I would probably be 15% to 20% less than that....
