Rasterlink help. setting paper length

Hey i'm using rasterlink6 v5.16
I really hate running out of paper in the middle of a print, i'm sure no one likes it.
Is there any way to tell the software, hey i've just loaded a new roll of paper, it has X amount of feet.. so it knows when you're nearing the end and stops you?

Hello,

There isn't a function in the software, but Mimaki printers have a option under machine setup called media remain. This is turned off by default, but it allows you to enter a media length when you load the roll of material on the printer and will give you an estimate on the control panel of what has been used. When you go into origin setup it will allow you to print the length remaining at the end of the roll by pressing function 1 or 3 and function 2 is your media cut.

You can reach me at 419-552-0194 if you have any questions regarding this.

Thanks,
Brian
