Reflective vinyl and bubbles

rydods

Member for quite some time.
This is the second time this has happened...I'm using Oralite 5000 series reflective vinyl. It applies perfectly to (first instance alumalite) (second instance - vehicle door) without a single bubble and I come into work in the morning and there are very small bubbles everywhere???? I used rapid tac for the vehicle and I assumed that this was the problem here but for the alumalite, I applied it dry.

Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

We had a similar problem and called oracal and the guy from there said we could wet apply but it would have to be a small amount. The only other thing it might be is if you didnt let your vinyl gas out before you laminated it and the solvents are trying to escape and creating bubbles.

This is just standard color reflective. It's not printed or laminated at all
