Ricoh Generation 4 print heads

Hi we have numerous Ricoh Gen 4 print heads from our Jeti HDC, that were involved in a head strike. Does anyone know of a place that can repair the print heads? When flushing the heads all the Jets appear still there. It seems to be an electronic problem. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

It sounds like a ribbon cable issue from my experience with the Ricoh Gen4 headss. Worked as a RnD technician with Agfa for 7 years and lots or work on the HDC and Titan that both use the Ricoh Gen 4. If head wasn't firing and the nozzles were good it was usually a High Voltage Board issue or a ribbon cable break along the connector and ribbon cable where it plugs into the high voltage board. The print head specialists that used to work for us told us there was no point of even trying to fix them as the electronics were internal and it was to difficult to seal them back up. Unfortunately, no good news here. If you have any other issue with your machine I would be happy to help. Make sure you have the latest software release and white print head re-circulation system installed. If you want more details or help making sure this has been done feel free to call me anytime at 905-704-9170 and its Jeff Minke,.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks
