One stupid plastic gear - may try to find a replacement gear or 3D print one
Died from - cutting 20 inch vinyl with a heavy liner and the vinyl not being attached to the core , spun on the core not on the end caps / core/ rod . Added drag striped the gear . Served me well for 20+ yrs hate to see it go

Same happened to our Odyssey in Oct 2017 (close to 20 years old at the time)
I was able to get the replacement part from Gerber P67679C. No idea of still available though.
Here is photo of old parts and a schematic that was sent from a tech guy at Gerber.

It took me a few hours to get it in, as I had never done it before.

You can slide the shaft over onto the adapter.
You can see the edge of it has the gear "teeth" .
It's an old trick that works.
Does anyone have a cutting head from an Odyssey or a Gerber Envision ?

yep - removed the plastic parts and slid the gear and it 's back up and running , can't really complain I've had the machine for 25+ years
