Roland 300v black printing blue

Hello everyone, I am new to the Signs 101 forum, I have been an artist, photographer and sign maker for over 40 years, I know I will find some help here and hope I can share my knowledge with the members. I have recently encountered a problem with my Roland 300v Versa Cam, I believe a picture is worth a thousand words, so I have photographed my problem. In a nut shell my black is printing as a dark blue. My question is can a plugged black line allow the blue ink to flow into the black print head?
