Roland 540 and Colorip 2.2

Hoping that someone can guide me how to print on reflective with the Roland 540 SC using the old Color Rip program.
I specifically need to have a gradient black to white which does not look green in daylight. I believe I need to know if I can print in greyscale
Can anyone help?
