Roland sc-500 cutting printed work not in register

I have a roland sc-500 when my machine starts to cut my printed graphic it slowly goes out of register, cutting sometimes an eighth of an inch off. It starts out fine then on a 5 ft graphic it is off at the tail end.
Anyone have an idea what causes this?
Does something need to be calibrated?
Would appreciate some help
