Roland vs640 crazy dark testprint

Hello everyone,
I hope someone can help me..

I have a Roland VS-640 (8 colors). I changed a damper (spilled some ink and wiped it away with cleaning solution) and then it went wrong. The testprint looks strange. I have tried to fix it:
  • I have installed a new printhead.
  • I have replaced all dampers (4 originals from Roland).
  • I have installed a new print carriage board.
  • I have replaced the 4 ribbon cables to the printhead.
It all doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

Check the traces on the 4 head cables on both ends and reseat them. What you are seeing is typically a head cable issue.
