I have a roland xr-640 and a xc-540w that both print great, but for whatever reason the 640 prints much slower. I'm doing 15' long prints and the 640 takes about 40 minutes longer to finish. Both machines have the same settings in versaworks and the print heads are both set to return at the end of the sheet. I may switch the 640 so that the heads return at the end of the print to save time, but can anyone tell me why the 640 run so much slower?
