Sc 50670 Cr Scale Sensor

Does anyone know where to buy the Sensor for the CR scale on the carriage? My supplier has it but they want like 400 to put it in. $8 part. They said they wont sell it to me without them installing it. I have the service manual and software

Hello - Did you ever have any luck finding the CR Scale for your 50670? We're looking as well. One place Epson referred me to was over $200 for the part and two to three weeks for delivery..
