Setting up the limit position - invalid out of range

On my Roland Versacamm VS 540 I'm trying to set up my "Setting up the limit position" but the cutting head stops and gives the error - "invalid out of range"
I have read that I might have to run a encoder test but can't seem to find it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi what do you did to resolve this issue
i can’t initialize mine says the same
thanks!

I'm looking for the instructions I found here, but the link seems to be broke now.
From what I remember I had to put the printer in service mode, and in the LED screen
change a setting as described by this guy:
"Because I replaced the scan motor to the new style the system switch that i needed to change was on page 16 bit 5 needed to be set to 1. "

I didn't change out the scan motor or anything else out, it just randomly changed.
I found the screen, changed one number & it worked perfectly after that.
