sign making schools

What do you basically want to learn ??

From what I recall, their school is a few days on techniques and hands on experience making basic 3D signs.... and I think mostly from HDU. I don't know if they cover wood, stone or glass.

You're not get going to get a cross section of the entire sign industry, just one small niche of it.

Being a grandpa is more fun than working
I think the school of hard knocks will be the most beneficial. The tests come before the lessons, and you'll never graduate...and you can learn at your own pace.

what schoolin you need.........TO HIT THE PRINT BUTTON?????hehehehehehehehe

You so desperately want people to be better prepared to enter this business. Someone finally comes along inquiring about getting educated, and you offer this douche bag response?

It's no wonder so many have little to no respect for you.

I bet for the right amount of coinage Gino will give ya a one week class. And if your lucky and really nice he might let you actually sleep INSIDE the shop instead of outside. Old Paint was obviously kidding, it wasn't an answer as much as it was a joke. But, Gino has a really good point, no "sign school" is gonna cover EVERYTHING. It's more or less a matter of life lessons and learn as you go, sometimes you are lucky enough to find someone willing to show you some of the aspects of the trade and pick up some things along the way.

I don't claim to be an expert but I'm pretty good at my target niche. When I need help with things outside my norm I ask here on 101. The ppl here are pretty damn helpful and love to help as long as you show an initiative to learn. An empty glass will stay empty if you don't show any initiative, put forth a little effort yourself and the members will help you fill it the rest of the way.

thank you surf, you read my post as it was intended.
SERIOUSLY...............i have said it before and will say it again for those(i wont name anyone in particular)THAT IF YOU SHOW UP HERE, i will gladly TEACH YOU anything i can and know how to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i believe the same would be true for most of us "old timers', like gino, would do the same.
the only thing lacking here .............IS YOU WHO WANT TO REALLY LEARN!!!!!!!!!!!!
learning is sorta like quiting smoking.............lota people want to but not many DO IT!!!!!
i have my phone number listed on many posts for those who have questions, i have answered all PRIVATE MESSAGES on things i can, and the only thing i cant do..........is kick ya in arse.........to get ya motivated to learn.

Ya old phuck you.................. :ROFLMAO: we're all the same down deep.

Of course anyone would be willing to teach or show you some of the ropes. The problem is... for us old timers.... things have changed drastically. Therefore, I charge triple or coinage........:peace!:
