Sign Production Manager Long Island

PLEASE NOTE: This position requires limited design responsibilities. If you are solely a graphic designer without sign production experience, please do not apply.


Island Signs & Graphics (www.islandsignsandgraphics.com) is a growing sign manufacturer on Long Island and currently has a open role in for a Sign Production Manager.

Minimum job duties

  • Sign design and production
  • Full-time availability (40 hours/week)
  • Consult/interface with customers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area
  • Assist in maintaining company signage equipment
  • Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs
  • Learn new technologies, skills and techniques to become a better sign making professional
  • Answer phones
Minimum qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a professional sign maker including design and production
  • Background in vinyl creation and application to substrates
  • Large format digital printing
  • Design creativity
  • Expertise in using Adobe Design tool suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Experience with RIP software
  • Enjoying what you do
Additional preferred qualifications

Vehicle wrap installation
Certified installation professional (3M, Avery, etc.)
