Wholesale Sign Specialist
High volume Point of Purchase sign company in Denver, Colorado seeking a highly technical, detail oriented and fast paced individual to operate our Summa Vinyl and Summa F Series Flatbed Cutters. This job involves operating our equipment to configure for cutting appropriate materials, perform calibrations, and successfully trim printed jobs using this equipment.
Candidates must have experience with this equipment (ie Summa, Graphtec, Gerber, etc). Experience with vinyl cutting, and cut vinyl application. Basic woodworking skills including using table saws, mitre saws, finishing.
Individual must be very proficient at navigating and using Windows and Macs (Linux a plus), be able to learn new systems (operating systems, software, etc) rapidly.
PHYSICAL: Must be able to carry up to 70 pounds, with moving materials of 20-50 pounds regularly. Applicants must also be able to stand for long periods, bend, and stoop due to nature of the job.
Experience with Summa, Caldera and Lamination experience is a definite plus. Pre-press knowledge and offset Digital Printing (ie Indigo, Konica Minolta, etc) also a plus.
Also, graphic design, especially with point of purchase / retail sign work a bonus.
Position is for full time employment, with paid holidays. After one year benefits of 40 hours Paid Time Off, 50% split of health insurance. Compensation will competitive and based upon experience and knowledge.
