Hello, Got a tax question. is anyone writing off production cost of signs you made for yourself?

The cost of materials and overhead, but that's done when you buy the stuff or at the end of every month, based upon the tax set up you're running under. To write off your labor for making things for yourself...... if that was the case, I'd be making 100's of thousands of dollars worth of sign just for lil' ol' ME.

You can't write off the retail value of anything done for yourself, just the cost.
