Im about 1 hour away from that fire ,its bad , A lot of people ave died( 63 Now) and over 600 missing and 8600 homes gone.

Because of the laws preventing them from clearing needed things away, in order to protect endangered species of whatever. Just normal maintenance.

You can disagree, but it's written in the news and all the firefighters I know, some who volunteer and go out to these many California fires all say the same thing. They do not clear or maintain anything in most of these areas.

The issue is the Rural-urban interface, not endangered species. We prevent fires from burning near people and have been for 100 years.
