soljet 545ex weird test print! Please Help

Please help I cant figure out why my black is doing this? I have checked all data cables, cant find anything wrong? If swapped the light magenta head and the black head had and its still the same? Black still going crazy.. The top pic is the cables plugged in normally, the middle is the black and light magenta data cables swapped at the head...and the bottom is the yellow and the black data cable changed at the head?? Still only black messing up? Please any help or ideas?

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
If after the cable swap the black head still fired like that, the head is bad. You can try to clean the terminals on the head where the head cables connect with rubbing alcohol. Let it dry for about 15 minutes and try again. If that doesn't work, unfortunately you are going to need a new head. The good news is that your head board should be good and it sounds like your cables are fine. Just remember to turn the machine off, unplug it and wait for 15 minutes before taking cables out etc.

but I even swapped the black and light magenta head, and it still did it when it fires black???

So when you did the cable swap, did you just cross the cables or move the actual heads to a different position? If you just moved the cables and it still printed black wrong, it's the head. If you moved the head positions, then you could have a head board failure, cable issue or both.

you were right... I swapped the heads and now the light magenta is doing it....What causes this is a problem in the head? can It be fixed? is it possible to switch the data board that's on the head?
