I don't think they squeezed their type examples enough. They were still legible. Whatever happened to appreciation of the original design as determined by the type face creator?

I've seen better advice in 3rd world countries, but I'm pretty sure this kind of styling would be acceptable on homemade band posters in the USA.

Good enough for government? Yeah, probably.
