stripes

Hi all,

I'm trying to print a line pattern on a reflecting surface using the Oce Arizona 660xt.
The lines are 1 mm black and followed up by 1 mm blank space.
Each time i print the document, an unwanted line pattern also appears. It drives me absolutely insane because i can't figure out how to get rid of it.
I created the document in Photoshop and made it with 300 PPI. I don't know the DPI the printer is using though.
Maybe you guys know a solution or see the fault i'm making.

Hope to hear from you,

Adriaan

You may be getting a moire pattern from your printer.
I would make the 1mm stripes in Illustrator and place in the document as a vector or place in Phoyoshop, flatten art, save as high .jepg and place that in document. In Illustrator, make 1mm black x height, drag to where you want the next one holding option key on a Mac and then command D to repeat 1mm strip as many as you need.
