Summa S2 T Auto Sheet Cut when cutting from a roll

I'm using Onxy RIP with Summa Cut Control/Barcode Server

Let's say I print 20 different files, all about 1m long, roll to roll. I laminate it then load the roll into the Summa. I want the Summa to read the barcode, cut the job, then perform a sheet cut before reading the next barcode and cutting the next file.

Is this possible?

Yes it is possible, in this case the minimum distance between jobs must be 3 cm plus the distance set in the "cut off margin" parameter

There should be an option in your rip for your file under cutter settings to activate the cut-off. The Summa will run the first job, then read the next barcode and then cut the first job off before starting the second job. Works great and doesn’t waste material between jobs.
