Hi,
I want to start printing on engineer grade reflective films so i was wondering which printer is best: Latex or UV.
I would appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks

I am currently printing some government jobs on 3m 5271 reflective vinyl I'm printing black on the yellow reflective so that only the non-printed areas are reflective. I'm currently using a HP L25500 and then we are using the 3m laminate that 3m recommends. 3m only says that screen printing is approved on this material, but it takes the ink very well and they are doing well in the field as pole ID labels. I'm about to get the next generation latex printer. I also have a UV printer, but due to the problems I have with it (high maintenance) I am not sure I would want to sink a lot of money into one.
