Vehicle wrap where to trim

Hello, I want to ask everyone where they trim to on a vehicle. Do you trim up to edge of door or wrap the vinyl around the door edge.I f you cut in through the centre between door and pillar you are left with maybe 1/4 inch this the area I am talking about.The same with wheel arches where to trim to. I haved watched lots of footage of wraps but no one goes into that sort of detail. Thanks Guys

Cut to the edge, either/both side(s) if applicable. Taught wrapping edges can lead to failure... did you remember to clean back there?

I cut on the forward edge where it spans a seam and the fold the excess in which had been cleaned. Bottom of doors and other ares get cut on the edge. Window perf I always trim back quarter inch from edge of glass.

General rule of thumb-

Wrap a 90 but not a 180

(degree angle, that is)
