Need Help Versa Works

I bought a used Xc-540 that came with a Laptop with Versa Works installed. I didn't get a disk.
I had an older Sp300v with Versa Works ( I have Disks) on my Desktop..
Will the Older version run the XC-540 ? Are they the same ?

Yes. It should run both. You'll probably need to run upgrades after you install from the disk though. Depending on the version that came with your SP, it may not have drivers for the XC.
