Question VersaCamm VS 540i pulling magenta from one cartridge

I've been noticing my 8 position magenta ink cartridge is emptying much faster than the 7 position magenta. Anyone else experience this?

When is the last time you had the dampers changed? When you send the carriage over to them maintenance station and clean around the printhead are there more drops of ink on the nozzle plate around that channel than the others?

I would not start with the dampers, I would recommend changing your CapTops. One may be cleaning better than the other, so the other is sucking some air. It is normal that they don't empty at the same time but normally close, as in a few days of each other.
