VersaWorks problem

OK, is there a way to delete a job from the queue besides re-initializing and losing all of your job files? The source of the problem is when a file from Corel gets exported as an eps that contains a pattern fill - when the file loads in the job queue it stalls at 90%, but there's no way to abort or clear the job. If I was to exit the program & restart, the program will freeze on loading when it tries to load this job and will never start. The only way I got through this before was to re-initialize the program, but in doing so, EVERYTHING - all jobs in the A & B queues, all setting adjustments, color profile updates & additions, program updates is wiped. I tried going into the job log file and deleting the offending job to no avail. There are folders for the A & B queues in the program file, but they contain nothing.

ah I'm running Versaworks Dual now, but if I go to Program Files > Roland Versaworks Dual > Versaworks > Printers > VG640 > "Job A" or "Job B" I have files in there that I have deleted in such a situation in the past. Not sure if this is the folder you already tried or not though...

Next time this happens close VersaWorks and then open a file browser window and navigate to the VersaWorks folder.
I'm on Windows 7, so my file tree looks like this:

C: > Program Files (x86) > Roland VersaWorks > VersaWorks > Printers

Once in the "Printers" folder, select your printer (if you have more than one), the select the "Job-A" or "Job-B" folder, whichever queue your bad file is in. There will be a folder corresponding to the file name. Delete that folder and you should be good to restart VersaWorks without having to re-initialize.

Hope this helps!

To run both you would need the Print & Cut version of Signlab.
We are running signlab print and cut so I guess we will just run directly from print and cut manager as we have with our versacamm up to now.
If you contact Reymond at timotyen@yahoo.com he have used signlab print and cut for sale,

Awesome! Thank you very much - I was tripped up by seeing the "Input-A & B" folders in the Versaworks folder and I didn't think to look in the Printers folder. I owe you a beer!

When it stops on 90%, generally that means it will throw a file is corrupt error. It doesn't freeze, it just takes a very long time, let it sit and it will time out on you. You can usually fix this issue in Corel by converting things to curves, converting to objects, etc.
