There are most definitely products for pressing onto nylon. We carry SPECTRA Cut Plus that is suited for nylon applications.

Yes, there is a self adhesive material that can be applied to nylon, not sure what the longevity is. I think it's in the Hyatt's catalog or maybe the Creative Banner catalog. Sorry I can't remember the name right off hand, I'll look it up tomorrow when I'm back at the shop.
