VP540 Printing issue

Had to replace the print head manifold on the yellow print head. Now that everything is back together it is not printing right at all. Also replaced print head fuse and ribbon. Any suggestions? I have a call out to tech support but we have been down a week now and need to get up and running.

take off and reattach the head cables for magenta and yellow. make sure they are all the way in and straight, and none of the exposed ends are bent or damaged

We did that. Tech said it probably needs a new main board. So we are just going to shop new printers tomorrow. Anyone want to buy a Roland?

When I had the same problem with a VP540 I maneged to get hold of a tech good enough with soldering and electronics to exchange the bad components. Cost was about 20% of a new main board. Just wanted to let you know that it might be possible to fix the board at a reasonable cost.
